Health, Happiness, & Strawberries!


There is nothing like feeling good on the inside.
Physically & Spiritually.
Every morning is a new start to my well-being. A new beginning.
I choose to start with simple prayer and meditation.
Life's dramas can overwhelm my spirit.
Sometimes all we need is a reunion with our Inner Peace.
Simple Meditation:
I start each morning with a glass of water.
It's best
to do this Meditation early am, 5:00 for me, before my side of the world starts its daily turmoil. I feel like I can grow more when I am newly awaken.
The positive way to start the day.
The restlessness of life in the West stands in front of me like a wild animal-waiting to attack my spirit. And then, there are the everyday dramas of life that involve our partners, our families, co-workers, and friends. Add war, an unstable economy, and the World News and you feel like the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders.
I find meditation to be calming, energizing, and tranquil.
I choose a quiet area in my home and close the door.



And I whisper to Myself while listening to calming Music:
"Every morning is a fresh beginning. Every day is the world made new. Today is a new day. Today is my world made new. I have lived all my life up to this moment, to come to this day. This moment--this day--is as good as any moment in all eternity. I shall make of this day--each moment of this day--a heaven on earth. This is my day of opportunity.




To complete my morning, I always indulge in a luscious piece of fruit, or a simple bowl of cereal (as a did this morning) and soymilk with chunks of Strawberries, Bananas, or Blueberries. (You can see a sample of my strawberry cheerios at the top of this Post ☺)







Not only are Strawberries deliciouso, but they are super beneficial. They are rich in antioxidants, rich in Vitamin C, and are effective in lowering high blood pressure. They are also an excellent source of Potassium. So Indulge!
