Yoga Me

I was never much of a "Fitness Guru", if that's what you call it.
My workouts always consisted of walking to the cafe' on my college campus or checking the mail
down the Driveway.
After I had my first child, my Body changed. I actually gained weight, for once (in high school, I was the "chicken legged" girl with no waist, hips, or bootay.
But the weight began to accelerate. I began to squeeze into my clothes. My shirts started to feel tight.
Even a walk down th
e street was a struggle for me.

I've always maintained a good diet. I was not always a vegetarian, but
I ate my fruits and veggies.
Being a waitress gave me a good amount of walking time, but it just wasn't enough.

So, I turned to Yoga.
Yoga was and still is relaxing for me. In the backyard, on the beach, in a dark, quiet room. A lit incent, a burning candle, and soothing music make this experience even more delighful.
Practicing Yoga on an empty stomach is the best idea. I prepare for yoga as I would prepare for a physical cleansing.

I prefer to practice my posing early in the mornings, when the kids are sleep and my mind is at rest. The roads are quiet, the birds are chirping, and the sun is beginning to rise on my side of the world.

What is Yoga?
Breath Control, Simple Meditation, and Adoption of
Body Posture Techniques

I will share with you two poses I am perfecting on my own. Very Simple, but yet rewarding!

A Hatha Yoga Pose
The purification of the physical body as leading to the purification of the mind and prana, or vital energy.

The Warrior Pose
Warrior one pose in yoga is a great yoga pose for strengthening leg and core muscles.

The Warrior Poses take strength, steadiness, and a fierce determination to hold them with integrity. The legs and arms need to be strong and extended (where the legs are straight), the hips flexible, the chest open and well-lifted, and the spine extended to hold these poses well. Looks easy, doesn't it?

Other Benefits of Yoga:

The ability of yoga to relax body and mind, leading to a reduction of tension and stress is arguably, its most important benefit. It tones muscles, makes growing older a more graceful process, calms the spirit, and sharpens the mind.

But don't take my word for it, try it yourself.

Stay Happy, Healthy, & Sexy!

Namaste.
